On the double to progress

  • Discover the service manual under the "Support" category: Under the Support category you will now find a service manual. It supports you with tips, tricks and instructions on installation, maintenance or fault localisation. We are always trying to broaden our offering with topics that could be of interest to you as customers.
  • Winds of change under our "E-Learning" category: We have decided to give the "E-Learning" category on our homepage a new paint job and a completely new design. You will now find instruction videos and other assistance there involving our software products that will help you to gather tips independently from the web. At the moment, help videos about the EPS (electronic passenger support) service, the system and automation configuration tool are available, but we will constantly be integrating new material and uploading files.
  • Very successful premiere of the ims user conference: On 30 September 2009 we carried out our first user conference in the Metrohaus of the RBS (Regionalverkehr Bern-Solothurn) in Worblaufen. Participants included the railway systems BD-WM Transport AG, SZU Sihltal Zürich Uetlibergbahn, WSB Wynental-Surental-Bahn, STA Südtiroler Transport-Agentur and the RBS. In addition to interesting presentations from all participating companies and active discussion with inspiring food for thought, we also presented our newest product, the telephone book application. However, the core of the occasion was the EPS (electronic passenger support). In this context we discussed possibilities for improving the service and used the opportunity to present the new EPS Release 4. The feedback was entirely positive. Martin Gerber from the RBS found our user conference "very good and informative" and recommended that "it be carried out regularly", while Tobias Strasser from the SZU described the occasion as "successful and interesting". We appreciate this feedback and look forward to the next conference soon!
  • Emergency call system for Brenner tunnels: As a partner of Miracom, we are realising the emergency call system for the construction phase of the new Brenner tunnels. Of the more than 200 robust and weatherproof emergency call devices to be installed, around 120 are presently in operation.
  • Modernisation of the 3S centre at the Munich central station : The order for the modernisation of the 3S centre in Munich into a so-called 3Splus centre was awarded to the telent GmbH from Backnang. ims INFO MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AG was selected by telent as a partner for operative communications tasks. The system was released for operation in April and final acceptance took place successfully.
  • Operative communications and passenger information system for the RBS: The RBS (Regionalverkehr Bern-Solothurn) is a transport company with tradition that connects the agglomeration around Berne with the Swiss capital. The RBS operates 5 lines. The RBS conveys around 25 million passengers annually, who can embark and disembark at 34 train stations. Presuming two trips each working day, between 25,000 and 30,000 passengers commute with the RBS to work, school or shopping. Following the invitation to tender, ims INFO MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AG was this year commissioned with the realisation of the operative communications and passenger information system. The system was completed within four months, accepted without defects and is enjoying a great deal of acceptance with the operators.
